pESC-URA-MrBBS-BFP is a plasmid featuring a GAL10 promoter for GAL4 regulated expression, an ERG20-linker-MrBBS assembly for production, a P2A for expression and detaching of downstream product, and a BFP for fluorescent reporting. It enables regulated production of (–)-α-bisabolol in yeast by GAL4, while laying basis for real-time reporting of expression level. It was applied into our project for regulated production of (–)-α-bisabolol by GAL4. It also contributed to real-time monitoring of production.
